Dr. Johnson
Dr. Andrew Johnson was born and raised in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi. His passion for dentistry was sparked while working as an assistant to his orthodontist, who was also his “young time” Judo Sensei. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from James B. Castle High School where he was active in both wrestling and judo and was named Scholar Athlete of the year.
After High School, Dr. Johnson attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He earned the NCAA Division III NWCA Scholar All-America award in wrestling, and his B.A. in Chemistry. Dr. Johnson then attended and received his D.D.S. from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He enjoyed the Pacific Northwest and was happy to spend those years closer to his Hawai’i friends and family.
After dental school Dr. Johnson completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry through New York University. The N.Y.U. Brooklyn Langone residency was held locally at Kokua Kalihi Valley and provided training in many advanced cases. Cases that are normally seen by dental specialists.
This training has given him experience in procedures such as surgical wisdom teeth extractions, difficult molar root canal therapy, gum surgery, dentures, implant restorations, crown and bridge work, as well as day-to-day cleanings and fillings. Dr. Johnson additionally enjoys simple orthodontic cases; the kindling to his passion for all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Johnson completed his training in 2018 and has been proudly serving our entire 'Oahu community ever since.
When not at the office, Dr. Johnson spends his time helping his wife, Riho, to take care of their adorable daughters. He additionally makes an effort to give back to the community by coaching wrestling.
Dr. Johnson prides himself in his ability to tailor treatments to your wants and needs and looks forward to working together with you to build a lasting relationship.

Fun Fact: Dr. Sato enjoys golfing in his free time.
Dr. Sato
Dr. Kent Sato was raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i and graduated from Iolani School.
He first attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California and later graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. He then attended Tufts School of Dentistry in Boston, Massachusetts.
Upon returning to Hawaii, he spent a year in a general practice residency at the St. Francis Hospital Dental Clinic. Since 1983, he has been practicing dentistry at the present location.
Dr. Sato is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. His interests include exercising, golfing, bible study, watching sporting events and family time.

Fun Fact: Dr. Le loves chocolate so much that she even took courses on becoming a chocolatier!
Dr. Le
Dr. Lisa Le has been practicing dentistry for over ten years. Her diverse career has included experience in private practice, the military, public health, corporate dentistry, and volunteer work. She is passionate about delivering comprehensive dental care through thoughtful treatment planning, precision, and a patient-centered approach. Dr. Le is excited to continue the high standard of care established by the Niko Niko team.
Dr. Le’s passion for dentistry began early while working as a dental assistant in her family’s pediatric dental practice in Kansas. She later attended the University of Kansas, where she earned her degree in Microbiology, before receiving her D.D.S. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. During dental school, she received awards for her research in dental imaging and contributed to published research involving bone cells. It was also during dental school that she met her husband, an O’ahu native and fellow dental student.
After dental school, Dr. Le joined the United States Navy and served as a dentist for five years. During her service, she had the opportunity to travel extensively, including time spent in Japan, Guam, Indonesia, Spain, Portugal, and Germany. After completing her military service, Dr. Le relocated to Hawaiʻi, where she's enjoyed living with her husband near his family since 2023.
Before joining Niko Niko Family Dentistry, Dr. Le spent two years serving the Hilo community. What was initially meant to be a temporary opportunity quickly became a meaningful experience as she formed lasting connections with her patients and the community. She now looks forward to building those same relationships here on O’ahu.
Dr. Le enjoys getting to know her patients beyond dentistry and values creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for everyone she treats. She looks forward to hearing about what keeps you busy, your favorite local restaurants, what you and your dog have been up to, and especially where you get your favorite chocolate from!
